DriveTest Centres are Currently Experiencing Longer Service Wait Times

Road Test Booking Longer Service Wait Times: Chatham, Guelph, Kingston, Lindsay, Orangeville
DriveTest is asking customers to consider alternate locations to avoid excessive wait times.
Even though full services are now being offered at all DriveTest Centres, customers are being asked to wait until February before making an appointment for a road test or visiting the DriveTest Centre to take your written test.
Anyone who holds a Driver's License that expired on or after August 24, 2009 because of the need for a test will continue to be covered under the automatic Driver's License extension put in place by the Ministry of Transportation (MTO). This includes renewal driver's tests required by seniors, commercial drivers and non-commercial drivers.
This extension will remain in effect until at least July 1, 2010. You may continue to drive using your expired license while this extension is in effect. However, you should complete your required testing before July 1, 2010.
