Bill 85 - Enhanced Drivers License (EDL) or Photo Card for non-drivers passes into legislation
The new Ontario driver's license cards include a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) chip that will primarily assist in border crossing. Besides your passport, the new EDL will be the only other permitted identification for border crossing into the USA.
